The plant exists in his old refuge in Recreio dos Bandeirantes - Rio de Janeiro
The plant is said to be native to a huge granitic stone and the plant are
impossible to reach unless you are a skilled alpinist.
Some seed may fall and germinate amid the soy plantation and pasture right down the rock
