Dyckia julianae is in fact a natural hybrid of two well known species,
Dyckia hebdingii and Dyckia chorestaminea.
It can be found in Barra do Ribeiro and also amid a vast hebdingii population close to Barão do Triunfo in Rio Grande do Sul.
They can be red, rubra, green, white and all the shades in between. Leaves can be as narrow as those of the chorestaminea and also as wide as those of the hebdingii.

All in all it is a fantastic plant.
