Dyckia delicata
Dyckia delicata. Isn´t it pretty? In nature most of the time Dyckias are not uprighted. They are bent laid on their sides to avoid water collecting in the center of the crown. I love the ample shallow pottery basins. The substrate must make a huge hill well above the basin border edges. Use stones, rocks to hold the substrate for a some time. I do not like those miserable black plastic pots. Those are for the producers only. We want our plants to feel fine and not as those white hens in an egg farm. Those pots are as cage for the flying bird. The most good looking bird is the one that fends for its own food. No cage bird sings...they regret and sorry.Apr 9, 2011
