Dyckias are for the true joy of beauty. They do not need to be in bloom to be attractive and catch anyone´s attention. ...and they get better every day...the older the better.
Here Dyckia fosteriana (from Paraná) in the foreground
the green silvery one is the rare Dyckia domfelicianensis ( from Rio Grande do Sul).
The latter is young seedling and it is now about to bloom for the first time.
A possible cross from these two species would be named Dyckia Santa Catarina the Brazilian state that keeps the two ( Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul) apart.
