Dyckia alba....almost there.
...this is what means: big and plentyful.
How many tiny yellow flowers we are bound to have here?
But I am still wondering what the scientists saw here
to name it alba  I missed here.

  1. Alba has a few meanings other than the Latin word for the color "white". Alba is a male gender Spanish place name. Alba is a female gender Hispanic term for "aurora, fair-skinned". Alba means "dawn" in Italian and Spanish...the plant might have been discovered early in the morning. "Terra alba" is the name for a fine grained white clay...which might be descriptive of the soil where the orginal plant was discovered. Maybe one of these is the source of "alba".
