Dyckia seed pods

 

Opened seed pods. 

Seed pods always turn upward. They resemble cups full with seeds.
Seeds are blown by the wind and spread surround also they can fall on the rock 
and be carried by rain water. Rodents also play their role in spreading the seeds.
