Why this plant is so special and white?

When we are on the field we carry the plant lover´s eyes and the discerning collector´s ones.
Beauty matters and not just the new but the special.
Dyckias do present some differences, visible notable ones.
The science is concerned with the most numerous individuals and not the exception.
The beautiful is normally exceptional.
When your carry the eyes of a demanding collector to the field you search for the most beautiful ones...
The dull, drab and regular looking individual are missed and the eyes set on the best looking individuals.
..and this is human for we do look for the beatiful..... or maybe beauty has a findamental role
in every aspect of nature...
