Dyckia delicatas do not pup here nor anywhere else in the world

This are very very old Dyckia delicat type.
No pups! This is so in nature too.
They devide crowns and even so rarely and slowly, you see it here.

I used to send seeds fir free to many friends all around the world.
Those were not hand pollinated nor controlled pollinated seeds and people knew of this by myself.
I always told that to them.
Delicadas hybrids seems to pups madly. Dyckia hb Liz Taylor does that and it is showing as the plants are all young adults and no one has bloomed yet (but will soon)

Flowers may be better to distinguish hybrids from pure self made plants.
The young pupping delicata plants in USA are those made from stolen seeds, seeds that I sent to the thief in exchange for something that never came to me.
Authorities advice are still the best guidance, the wisest one the light I would rather have if lost in the dark.

This is also Dyckia delicata and the rubra type form and also a very very old plant...no pups.

 

 Delicatas are unbearable beautiful and rare plants and as many  yet historical cases when the beauty and the rare got together many fakes appeared, some as beautiful as the true plants or even more dazzling beautiful.
