Dyckia lindelvaldeae

These rare Dyckia lindelvaldeae were left abandoned.
Fungi and rain led this plants to this regrettable aspect .
Dyckia lindelvaldeae comes from  a Cerrado (drought area) area where rain is not a frequent event.
The plant is covered by a rich thick layer of big white scales and these scales are very loose, wind and specially water can remove them easily and the result are ugly bald areas.
Now I protected this plant from the rain and they got a systemic anti fungi treatment. I hope to get them back to their old look soon.
