Dyckia estevesii, maybe not a species but a variant.....

It is more than certain this "species" is a normal round plant and the described one is a variant from it.
This distichous form  produces long  snaky trunks with many, many, many branches.
That is why in nature they are numerous but no one derives from any seed!!!!
Does Science stumbled from its speed horse once more?
It would be no surprise!!!
I do think all plants in the world are in fact the very unique and sole plant, the very same one.
The seeds produced by this plant are all round!
Once more science was in a hurry and acted as it was describing a violet.
Dyckias are intriguing plants...mischievous ones. They fool you and if one is in a hurry....
Dyckias were side findings and were treated as that, side plants!
People were looking for cacti and orchids and whatever....
