Dyckias...These creatures of the Light are mostly Brazilian. Many of them are still to be seen by the very first time. Come on in. Let us see some. This Blog was created to show you the plants in my garden and also help you to keep happier Dyckias. This is the beginning of the book:THE ALLURING DYCKIAS. I may share some seeds with you. This way we help Dyckias to be known, understood and cherished. Email me at: constantinog@terra.com.br Constantino Gastaldi -Brazil ... 55-47-3425-8085
Some day when you have time, with your new camera will you post a photo essay/procedure about how to protect plants from cross-pollinating...Thanks...Clint
ReplyDeleteI guess I already did this.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it in several ways:
If the plant you want isolate is in a reasonable small pot ypu just get it to an isolated spot:
a- another plance some 5 kilometer away or what soever.
b- inside your house or int a sechudet place.
If the plant you want isolate is in a heavy pot you must isolate the flower stick at a hole with a nylon feminine stoking.
Ypou may isolate flower by flower, too.
