Nothing better preserve the species than the hybrids. Hybrids are most of the times better looking and much easier to maintain. Preserving is a role the must be accomplished by Education, Botanic Garden, Reserves, society while well informed and so on and on. We do not preserve the rain forest on a window sill nor we do it in front of our doors and neither in our backyards. Politics, media, knowledge and education are the weapons against
mass destruction. I favor hybrids!!! I favor the beauty.
People do not buy species...we buy beauty...
dreams...fantasy.
In Portuguese there is a saying: each monkey perched on its own branch!
