The hen that used to lay those eggs was killed.....
"A COTTAGER and his wife had a Hen that laid a golden egg every day. They supposed that the Hen must contain a great lump of gold in its inside, and in order to get the gold they killed it. Having done so, they found to their surprise that the Hen differed in no respect from their other hens. The foolish pair, thus hoping to become rich all at once, deprived themselves of the gain of which they were assured day by day."
This is the famous and old Aesop´s fable.
I studied old Greek an Latin and I was able to translate those Aesp´s fables from Greek to Portuguese, English, French, Latin. We here had a fantastic school and we could all speak at least three modern idioms besides old greek and Latin. So I am no fool but I get myself fooled as besides my mind I have a heart and this one betrays me...
The Fox and the Grapes fable and this one about the hen that laid one golden egg always captivated me and today the last one version is a modern updated one...and a current bad experience.
The hen is me and the golden eggs are the seeds I sent based on a gentlemen agreement.
I have laid lustrous shinning brilliant fat golden eggs to a disguised American cottager who hypnotyzed me in order to keep the flow of Dyckia seeds running in his direction.
This hen just got out of that transe
..and I was left sit on bare hay... this hen openened up her yes. She is sit on a not empty nest and with wide opened eyes.
..and this chicken head of mine wants what is mine...do not delay...I have eggs to lay...This ckiken head is a happy lucky one as I have friends, honorable ones spread all over the globe..
I am glad I never saw a saw like the saw I did not saw in Arkansas.
