Dyckia alba blooming stem today. It will present many small yellow flowers soon.
Listed in CITIES as extremely endangered.
Brasilian Law lists all Dyckias from Atlantic rain Forest plant as endangered.
This flower stem is very precious as it will produce true species seeds, planned hybrids and open fertilezed ones too. An extremely rare oportunity of survival, a ticket to Forever Land...
I think I am a lucky stuborn guy.
I think and act differently and accordingly to my thinking.
I never sold a Dyckia!!!
I never sold a single seed.
Also I never bought a Dyckia or a seed!
Species are to be spread all over the world.
One species may be rare or extint in nature but must survive in your garden.
Last year I offered and gave to those who asked Dyckia fosteriana seeds.
I sent seeds to A friend Paulin USA and he kindly sent to all the one s who said I want some.
It was Christmas Time, a Time for giving and forgiving.
This year I want to make it once more and this time I intend to make it with Dyckia alba.
I do not know if the plant wil succed in giving us all seeds but if so i will try to make some of them to get to your hands.
Later I will tell how and maybe seeds will not be ready before Christmas but even later on they may carry The Christmas Spirit any time.
Please include me if you are able to distribute any of these seeds. It has a very colorful inflorescence.
