East of Paraná....

Some Dyckias surprise us and a few present a show never seen before.
This East of Paraná native species initiates life as a plain  green one Dyckia as green as a palm tree parakeet then all of a sudden it begins to darken and it does so almost to reach a rich velvet black hue.
As the Autumn days get even shorter the plant gets vivid red wine... you almost yell: BRAVO!
I would do it standing up and my hand palms would be reddish: BRAVO!!

We only just begun to understand Dyckias. We have much to go ahead...we have much to discover,
much to see all in endless flow of enchantment and sheer pleasure.
Brazilian wilderness holds many more folds the number of Dyckia species people tells you so.
Brazilian Botany tends to hold, to guard, to hide not to reveal.
This is not Science for Science the true one is to be Light and Light must be put on the table to iluminate!!!!!! If you keep it under the table you will do nothing but set this table afire.
I do understand! Up to very recently people used to come to Brazil and name our plants with names we can´t barely pronunciate. We have everything begining with the word Dyckia itself.
People in European offices, feet never touched a tropical ground, buns that were never bittern by
mercyfulless tropical mosquito got their owner´s name honored by a Brazilian plant.
We were taken as miserable people and the fatty, belly swollen, pink faced and smelly and stinky guy was the heroe.
We are the World...we are the children...we are the ones to make a better world so let us start
living!!!!
Knowledge is not a privilege of a few anymore but wisdom, wisdom is a rare gem and a hard to find one. The mountains you must climb, the valleys you must go down, the rivers you must to cross
are so so so imponent... wisdom is a so rare plant, so precious...
...within the windmills of one´s mind!
We are one...one...take...take my hand...
