Dyckia hebdingii affinis...a dream plant from way down South in Brazil

This is one the most beautiful plants on Earth!
It grows on a big turtle shell like rock outcrop in the middle of a grazing field.
Pasture are giving terrain to eucaliptus, pinus and acasia for paper making.
Sooner or later the rock outcrop will be shadowed by many thousand trees...unless 
sometinhg is done we will lose this marvel in nature.

In nature,these plants are so white you think they are dry death plants.

They will bloom by the very first time here....you can see some flower stalk bractea among the folliage just emerging from the leaves axils.
