Dyckia sp East of Paraná

This fantastic new finding  gets deep red wine.
Its display of colors during Autumn is absolutely breathtaking.
From absolutely green the plant initiates its show getting  dark amber like.
Then it starts getting deep red wine almost black and finally tint iself in reddish blood.
It grows almost  on top of an Esartern Mountain in Paraná.
The place is very crowded by week-end mountainous backpackers tourists.
It is amazing how long it took for this plant to be found at last.
