Dyckia sp Campo Alegre-SC

What a magnificent Dyckia!
This one lives in Notheeastern Santa Catarina in the small german like city
Campo Alegre. Ther the temperature drops to some degrees below freezing point but only during some winter nights.
This Dyckia flowers in orange flowers in a beautiful blooming stalk.

I especially like the way the new leaves have red edges first, then all the way red.
