This brown material you can see onthe gravel tha covers the substrate is chicken bedding.
Chicken bedding consist of saw dust full of all chicken dropings and other organic materials
that is found in poultries.
This is a cheap and eficiente fertilizer.The unconvinients are: it does stinks and it is fast consuming.
The reults are immediatly seen but also very temporary. You must be constntly recharging it.
This continuous recharging also helps to reconstitute the substrate itseld as occurs in nature.
I use most of those fancy expensive fertilizer we can find, no other seemed to achieve the results this one here achieves.
Absolutely 100% natural and organics.
In Thailand people count on something even more effective chicken poo, and bat poo.
The later is the better as it has a more elevated mineral content.



I can confirm that bat's poo is very potent, and aromatic too!
